What's even more amazing is while pregnant, jumping back into her career and even between breastfeeding, Danielle has been blogging away. When asked about where she gets the time to put fingers to keyboard she says, "I'm up at 3am and down by 9. Time? Wherever I can."
Her blog, triniparents.com tackles conversations new and even more experienced Trinbago parents have often discussed, for example "School Fees and Secrets".
"I write everyday for work. Like every single day. A creative outlet is important but, more importantly, there are not enough Caribbean parenting voices online and even fewer from the working mom perspective," says Danielle. "I thought I'd keep a journal of sorts and it turned into a blog with input from friends like me. Moms who had their children 'late in life', who work and who are so used to trying to do it all, they are likely slightly (incredibly) overwhelmed by it all."
Baby Babble knows all too well, that every mother and father who may think they are alone in this parenting adventure can always use some good advice and support. And a little local advice can go a long way. Thanks Danielle.
